München Con 26
Munich Con 2026! Juggling, Acrobatics, Aerial Silks, and Much More!
This year’s gathering will take place in the sports halls in Giesing: across three triple-sized gymnasiums, there will be everything from juggling, partner acrobatics, flow arts, aerial silks, and unicycling.
The convention starts on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 6:00 PM and ends on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at around 4:00 PM. This means we have almost 5 full days this year. On Thursday evening, you can perform your acts as part of a big Open Stage. On Saturday evening, there will be a Gala Show, and on multiple nights an active fire space.
You can find more information about the con also on our convention website.
Participation – Lottery System Depending on Discipline
The number of participants is relatively limited depending on the hall, so it is worth booking a ticket in advance.
In general, places are secured in the order in which participants register and complete payment. However, due to the very high demand for acrobatics tickets, this year we will select the majority of submitted orders by lottery. We reserve the right to give priority on the waiting list to participants who offer a workshop, perform, help with setup or teardown, or help us keep the participant list balanced. The registration deadline for acrobatics is September 15 at 11:59 PM.
If there is still capacity available, we will do our best to offer on-site registration as well. However, to make planning easier for both you and us, please register online as early as possible.
Participation-Based Convention
Munich Con is also a participation-based convention. That means everyone pitches in! This is what makes the low prices possible. Shortly before the convention starts, you will receive a list where you can sign up for volunteer shifts.
Day Tickets / Last-Minute Tickets
On all days, there will probably still be a limited number of day tickets available for the juggling hall, the aerial/unicycling hall, the fire space, and, on weekdays, also for the acrobatics area. Day tickets will also be available for purchase here, starting end of September approximately. Unfortunately, they can only be offered if there is still space available in the halls.
Tickets for Students and Teachers
If you are planning to come together for one day, please contact us at muenchencon@jimev.de with the name of the teacher, the names of the students, and which areas you are interested in. We will get back to you as soon as possible. There will also be a Youth Con this year!

FAQ
- What is the food like? There will always be at least one complete vegan meal option for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast will of course include one as well.
- What does “child” mean for ticket purposes? Children who have not yet started first grade may attend for free! Children who, at the start of the convention, are in no higher than sixth grade may book a child ticket. All older children must book a regular ticket.
- Why are tickets more expensive for acrobatics? Workshop instructors in these areas receive a discount afterward for each workshop they teach. This is financed directly by participants in those areas through a small additional charge.
- How and where can I stay overnight? It is possible to sleep in classrooms! It is therefore a good idea to bring a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, pillow, and possibly earplugs and a sleep mask.
- Will there be day tickets? See the section above: Day Tickets / Last-Minute Tickets.
- Can I participate as a minor? Only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or an authorized adult supervisor. You may need a written authorization form (colloquially known as a "Muttizettel"). Here is a template: https://muttizettel.net/
